MCCC Mallorca Tour 2018

We’re delighted to announce that MCCC Mallorca Tour 2018 has now been confirmed is available to book.

For 2018 we’ll be using a different tour company and will be using Legro’s who have many years’ experience at running training camps in Majorca.

We’ve changed tour company following your feedback that cost was a significant barrier in deciding whether to go and believe that with Legro’s we have achieved a cost saving over 2017 prices while maintaining the high standards expected.

Arrival in Mallorca is from Sunday 15th April for 7 nights with the option to ride every day.

Questions & Answers

Here are a few of the more obvious Q&A’s but we’ll add to this list as people ask additional questions. We also attached a link to the Legro’s website which has loads of useful information.

Don’t worry – there are likely to be a number of people in the same situation so please don’t let that put you off going. Alternatively, there are a small number of single rooms available on a first come first served basis.

Absolutely, there will be a choice of rides available each day and while there are broadly three groups, not dissimilar to club rides, the middle group tends to be the most popular and will then further subdivide to ensure there is a ride available that will suit you.

Not at all, some people like to include an easier day during the week and you are free to join as many or as few rides as you like.

There will be at least two group leaders, with no group larger than 20 riders. It’s likely we will be riding with other club members but the ride leaders will enforce strict group riding etiquette.

No -one will be dropped and the second rider leader will ride behind the last person

On longer rides there will be a support vehicle for water re-fills, carrying extra food/clothing etc, but you’ll be expected to carry your own spares/gels/water etc, (as on a club ride).

This is down to personal preference and both have pro’s and con’s – the cost is broadly the same

There is a wide choice of bikes to hire but the earlier you decide, the better choice you will have. If you leave it until the week before, you may struggle to get the bike you really want – or a bike at all!

Taking your own bike is easy, you’ll need a rigid bike box which can be hired for around £30pw and will need to book it on the plane. EasyJet charge £70 return and allow a maximum weight of 32kg

Once we know everyone’s flight details, we’ll book the transfers via Legro’s at a discounted rate. Allow around €25 each way for your transfer, including suitcase and/or bikebox.

Because people will arrive on different flights, we’ll split the cost equally to ensure no one is disadvantaged.

Breathtaking Scenery, Mountains, Hairpin bends and Excellent Descents What more could you want.

We're not around right now. But you can send us an email and we'll get back to you, asap.
